This work took place in a traditional house in Saltaire. The top floor of the house only had one socket to serve the largest bedroom, which the owners planned to turn into a "den" with a television, DVD, computer and printer. The electrics were in a pretty shaky condition with some of the wiring exposed through crumbling plaster. Extra sockets were installed, the fuse box was updated, and every socket and light switch in the house was checked to conform with safety standards. The electrics were made compliant with the law and a certificate of safety was issued.
